The Center for Transportation Excellence (CTE) manages non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for county governments, managed care organizations and health and human service agencies that serve older adults, persons with disabilities and other individuals lacking adequate transportation. This is accomplished through CTE’s 24 hour – 7 day a week call center where reservations are taken by telephone, scheduled and then sent via the internet to individual transportation companies to bring the clients to their destination.
